It wasn't the Motion Picture Association of America, video game publishers or the television industry that provided this rating. It was an on-line dating service called Mingle2. According to them, the PG rating is based upon two uses of the word "dead" and a single use of the word "porn" in posts.
Oh well, I don't think I was in any danger of being confused with Walt Disney anyway.
